Using your Makita 18V X2 (36V) LXT® Cordless String Trimmer is easy. First, make sure you have a fully charged 18V LXT® battery with the star symbol if you want to use the Star Protection feature. Attach the battery to the trimmer. Turn it on using the power switch and adjust the speed with the variable - speed trigger switch according to your needs. You can choose from low, medium, and high speeds.
