Product Detail

Using the DeWalt D25263K is a breeze. First, make sure you have the right bit for the job. For wood or steel, use an appropriate adaptor. When drilling into concrete, select a bit within the 1/4 - 3/4 inch range for optimal performance. Before starting, adjust the 360-degree side handle to a comfortable position. Hold the tool firmly with both hands, keeping a good grip to handle the power of the 8.5 Amp motor. When the bit starts spinning, apply gentle pressure to begin drilling or chipping. The SHOCKS technology will reduce the vibration you feel, making the operation more comfortable. If the bit jams, the integral clutch will kick in to protect you from sudden high-torque reactions. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the tool thoroughly. Remove any dust or debris from the body, handles, and the bit. Check the rotating brush ring regularly to ensure it's in good condition. If you plan to use the tool in dusty environments, consider using an attachment and dust extractor to make it OSHA silica compliant. This will also help keep the tool in good shape for longer. And don't forget to refer to the DeWalt Dust Management Guide for more tips on keeping your work area clean and your tool running smoothly.
