Using the DeWalt DCD200D1 20V MAX XR Drain Snake Kit is easy. First, charge the 20V MAX* XR Battery (2.0Ah) using the charger. Then, select the appropriate cable for your drain. If needed, you can swap the drum in the unit to get the right cable. Place the cable into the drain and use the forward/reverse variable speed trigger on the ergonomic handle to control the movement. The 3 - Mode Pivoting LED Light will help you see in dark or confined spaces. When you're done, retract the cable using the trigger. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the cable to prevent debris build - up. Check the battery regularly and store it in a cool, dry place.
