Using Your Makita Power Cutter Kit
1. First, charge the 40V max XGT 8.0Ah Batteries using the 40V max XGT Dual Port Rapid Optimum Charger. This will ensure your power cutter has enough juice to get the job done.
2. Once the batteries are charged, insert them into the power cutter. Make sure they are properly seated.
3. If you're cutting concrete, connect the water hose to the water hose coupling. Adjust the water flow using the water flow adjustment knob to meet OSHA requirements.
4. Before starting the power cutter, put on your safety gear, including goggles, gloves, and ear protection.
5. To start the power cutter, use the lock-off power switch. Remember, it requires two actions to start.
6. When cutting, hold the rubberized front handle in a comfortable position. The 14" wheel can make single-pass cuts up to 5" deep in various materials.
